Oceania map quiz
Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific island nations: find each one on the map.
How it works
- Choose Find, Name or Learn.
- Find: tap the country named at the top. You have three tries; after the third it is shown to you. Skip (or the S key) saves a country for the end of the round, with the tries it has left.
- Name: the country lit up on the map is the question; type its name. Spelling slips in long names are forgiven.
- Drag to move the map, pinch or use + and − to zoom. Very small countries carry a dot you can tap.
- At the end you see your score and time, and can play only the ones you missed.
Why play here
- The Pacific islands
- Eleven island nations, from Palau to Tonga, mostly dots across the ocean. Learn mode first is a good idea.
- Typing is free
- The harder Name mode, where you type each country, costs nothing here.
- Learn before you play
- Learn mode lets you explore the map freely before a timed round.
- Practise what you missed
- One tap replays just the countries you got wrong, until you know them all.

Questions
Why do Kiribati and Fiji look split?
Their islands lie on both sides of the 180th meridian, so they appear at both edges of a world map.
Is Tuvalu on the map?
Yes, as a dot: its islands are too small to draw at this scale.
